Module Installation and Upgrades

This is where you add or upgrade the module in the Mall Library.



This is where you select and control the module in your store.

New Installation of Attribute Master Module:

1. Run the admin.mv.
2. Click on "Add" next to the "Modules" link.
3. Click the "Upload" graphic button.
4. Enter the filename of the module on your local drive.
5. Press the "Upload" button.
6. Press the "Add" button.

Setting up your store to use the Attribute Master:

1. Open the "Stores" branch.
2. Click on the arrow beside the store name.
3. Click on "System Extension Configuration" below.
4. Select the check box for the ADS Attribute Master.
5. Press the "Update" button.
6. Select the "ADS AttributeMaster" tab
7. Enter your license key
8. Press the "Update" button
9. This tab is used to configure the module settings.

Upgrading the Attribute Master Module in the Mall:

1. Click on the "Modules" link.
2. Click the edit button next to "ADS Attribute Master".
3. Click on Files.
4. Click the "Upload" graphic button.
5. Enter the filename of the modules on your local drive.
6. Press the "Upload" button.
7. Press the "Update" button.

Uninstalling the Attribute Master Module from the Store and the Mall:

1. Open the "Stores" branch.
2. Click on the arrow beside the store name.
3. Click on "Pages" link.
4. Click the edit button next to "PROD Product Display".
5. Click on Product Display Layout tab at the top of the page
6. Select either your previous Template Version or the "Original" version provided by MIVA in the version history box. Click on "Recall" then Update.
7. Click on the "Items" Tab at the top of the page. Search for Item "ads-attrmaster". Unassign the Item "ads-attrmaster" from the PROD page by unchecking the box and clicking Update button.
8. Click on "Pages" link in the left side navigation again.
9. Click the edit button next to "PATR Missing Product Attributes".
10. Make sure you are on the "Page" Tab at the top of the page. Select either your previous Template Version or the "Original" version provided by MIVA in the version history box. Click on "Recall" then Update.
11. Click on the "Items" Tab at the top of the page. Search for Item "ads-attrmaster". Unassign the Item "ads-attrmaster" from the PATR page by unchecking the box and clicking Update button.
12. Repeat steps 8-11 for OUS1 Checkout: Upsell Product (Single) Page and UATR Upsell: Missing Product Attributes (Single) Page templates. If you are using product attribute items on other pages, such as CTGY page, make sure you repeat the process for those pages.
13. Click the edit button next to "ads-attrmaster" Item and click the Delete button.
14. Click on "System Extension Configuration" in the left side navigation.
15. Unassign the "ADS Continue Shopping" module from your store by unchecking the box and clicking Update button.
16. Click on the "Modules" link.
17. Click the edit button next to "ADS Attribute Master".
18. Click the Delete button to remove the module from you MIVA Merchant domain.
